Since many Agencies will be running September settlements after payroll processes this weekend, any sales orders recording agreements with USDA trading partners could be updated with additional costs. To avoid ITRS reconciliation issues, those costs should be billed and processed through INTR. Therefore, we will be modifying the schedule to allow one more run of Resource Related Billing and INTR this Monday, September 29th. These additional USDA trading partner transactions will load to ITRS on the second run scheduled for October 2nd.

Welcome to the Financial Management Modernization Initiative (FMMI) Homepage
The FMMI project is currently being supported by the Office of Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) to modernize the departmental and agency financial and administrative payment and program general ledger systems.

What is FMMI?
USDA is taking steps to modernize its financial systems through a state-of-the-art software package that will provide online, real-time transaction capability and access that impacts every Agency and Staff Office in the Department. It will replace the Foundation Financial Information System (FFIS) and program financial systems, as applicable.

USDA launched FMMI after identifying the need to upgrade Department and agency financial and administrative payment and program general ledger systems. Department officials will use FMMI to address challenges and opportunities in the rapidly changing Federal financial management, and technology environment.
